The administrative offices and staff facilities are located on the lower floor of the building. A separate staff car park and staff access, along with a partly concealed delivery area, is located a half-level below the main road frontage on the excavated site.
The external façade of the building comprises rendered blockwork and strip glazing at lower ground floor level and a terracotta rainscreen façade system with integrated windows at first floor level.
The contract included a full range of internal finishes and a full built in and loose furniture fit-out to the requirements of the Library Service.
